Two blocks of the hotel were erected in the old part of the city. In former times there were stalls in the place of the hotel. Nowadays this place is called the Revolution Square and it is a busy center of the city.

From the window of the hotel one can see the domes of Solikamsk cathedrals, ancient buildings, a modern department store, a railway bridge over the Usolka River.
