If you like everything that bears a relation to history, you may check the content of this division of my site. But first let me say why I've created this page. Events, people, and mysteries of remote past have always attracted my attention. Even in high school my favorite subject was history and history lessons were the only lessons I liked.

It seems to me that history can give the most valuable contribution to the investigations of human nature. Besides, I believe that we would never be able to predict our future correctly without careful study of our past. That's why I could not help creating the historical page.

I've been interested in a number of historical topics. However, my present historical page is dedicated to only two of them. The first part of the page contains general information concerning human origins, the great problem I've been interested in for years.

The second one is dedicated to the sights of ancient Russian and Ukrainian cities and contains a lots of photos, mostly of Orthodox temples and other monuments. They clearly demonstrate great skill of ancient architects. The architecture of old buildings is another my interest.
