Optical properties of glassy SiS2 and the 21 micron feature.
Astrophys. J., v. 464, pp. L195 - L198.

Optical constants: Some details:
SiS2 was prepared as a bulk glass and as single crystal by quenching of the molten sample and by a vapor transport method, respectively. A part of the glass sample and the single crystal were pulverized, mixed with dry KBr, CsI, and polyethylene, and pressed into pellets. Both the reflection and transmission measurements were performed in the wavenumber range from 20 to 5000 cm-1.
