Benchmark results for spheroids
[This page will contain a number of tables like given ones.]
In the following tables we present
the normalized cross-sections tabulated for
prolate and oblate spheroids having
the refractive index m = 1.3, 2.5, 1.7 +0.7i, 2.5 +1.5i, 3.0 +4.0i;
the semiaxis ratio a/b = 1.1, 2, 4, 10;
the incidence angle alpha = 0 and 90 (TE and TM modes), and
different diffraction parameter
xV=2 pi rV/lambda, where
rV is the radius of an equal volume sphere and
lambda the wavelength of incident radiation.
The results were obtained by at least two different methods,
and all given digits were the same.
