Optical characteristics of
non-spherical scatterers
This page will contain definitions (and basic references)
of the following parameters:
- cross-sections Cext, Csca, Cabs, Cbk;
- efficiencies Qext, Qsca, Qabs, Qbk;
- albedo, g1,2,3, Cpr 1,2,3;
- phase function, matrix elements, etc.;
- TE/TM mode definitions for arbitrary shapes.
Note that some parameters are defined in a quite different (specific) manner
than for spherical scatterers, and some definitions in the book
of Mishchenko et al. (2000).
