Project fast LPV

The project fast LPV (Line Profile Variations) is aimed to study the variation of the line profiles in the spectra of early-type stars at the short time scale from seconds to hours. We plan to use the observation on the large telescopes as 6-meter telescope BTA in the Special Astrophysical Observatory (Russia), 8-meter telescopes VLT in ESO (Chile) with spectrographs and spectropolarimeters of low or moderate resolving power as SCORPIO and FORS 2 to study the fast line profile changes with the high signal to noise ratio. The project includes the list of atomic lines in the spectra of OBA stars; the list of targets can be used for looking for the superfast LPV at minutes and seconds scales and the results of our observations. In a future we plan to additionally use other large instruments for the observations.
