If you do prefer to hire a taxi, the reasonable price for trip to the metro station "BALTIYSKAYA" is about USD 15 - 25 and to the University hotel in Stary Peterhof is about USD 30 - 50. Official taxi offices are located immediately at the customs exit. The travel time by taxi is about 30 minutes to "BALTIYSKAYA" and about 50 minutes to Peterhof. All stations are in the downtown of Petersburg. Please use the closest metro station for further travel to the metro station "BALTIYSKAYA". The metro station "BALTIYSKAYA" as well as the railway station "BALTIYSKY VOKZAL" are connected with Stary Peterhof by the bus number 404. The price for trip is 20 RUR. The metro station "AVTOVO" is connected with Stary Peterhof by the bus number 424. The price for trip is 20 RUR. The travel time is about one hour. The exit bus-stop is the last but one (the last bus-stop on Botanicheskaya street). One can go by train also (about 50 trains per day) from "BALTIYSKY VOKZAL" to "STARY PETERHOF" (travel time about 50 minutes, the price 16 RUR) and then by the bus No. 359 in the direction to the University (travel time about 10 minutes, the price 6 RUR, about 40 trips per day). The exit bus-stop is the last one on Botanicheskaya street. Novy Peterhof is a suburban town between Petersburg and Stary Peterhof. There are the Great Palace, Fountain Park and exchange officies. It is connected with Stary Peterhof by the buses No. 352, 356, 359. The price for trip is 6 RUR. The travel time is about 25 min. |
