                        SCIENTIFIC ORGANIZATION

The conference is organized by the Sobolev Astronomical Institute
of St. Petersburg State University in the building of the Faculty
of Mathematics and Mechanics.
The opening session will be held in the building of the Institute
of Physics (Conference Hall).
The scientific sessions will be held in the building of the Faculty
of Mathematics and Mechanics (Room 2143, second floor).

The publication of the Conference Proceedings is planned in ASP series.

                             REGISTRATION
                             ============

     The registration will be held at Sobolev Astronomical Institute

     near the Room 2143.

     Registration and information desk will be open
       on   Sunday    August 17  11-00 - 20-00
       on   Monday    August 18   9-00 - 20-00
       on   Tuesday   August 19   9-00 - 20-00

      Registration fees:
         $ 200 for foreign participants,
         $ 100 for their accompanying guests,
         $ 100 for foreign students;
               200 rubles for Russian and NIS participants,
               100 rubles for their accompanying guests,
               100 rubles for NIS students.

The fees should be paid in cash (in euro, dollars or rubles) on arrival
at the registration desk.

                                   ACCOMMODATION
                                   =============
Conference participants and their accompanying persons will get rooms
accordingly to the accomodation forms.
Payment will be made upon arrival at the reception desks in the hotel
in cash in rubles according to the schedule.

The costs are as follows:
"Single"     $ 15

"Double-I"   $ 20 ($ 10 per one person)

"Double-II"  $ 18 ($ 9 per one person)

"Triple"     $ 24 ($ 8 per one person)

The breakfasts in hotel are not available.
However, near the hotel there are a few cafeteria,
where you can take a breakfast (cost about 100 rubles).

                                 TRAVEL
                                 ======

      IMPORTANT:
Please inform us about your arrival and departure - date,
Moscow summer time, and number of flight or train in advance.

On Saturday August 16 and Sunday August 17
participants will be met by LOC representatives at the airport
arrival lounge. It is planned to organize a shuttle bus
to the University hotel in Stary Peterhof.

It is strongly advisable NOT TO USE private cars from the airport!

         Meals
         ~~~~~

Coffee breaks will be served two times a day for registered
participants near the conference room.
The costs of coffee breaks and informal party are included
in registration fee.

Lunches will be organized for participants at the conference site in
the University canteen from Monday, August 18, till Saturday,
August 23. The mean price for lunch is about RUR 100.


         Conference dinner and excursions
         ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Conference dinner is planned of August 21.
The costs of the conference dinner are
15 USD for foreign participants and
300 rubles for CIS participants.

Two excursions are planned for the participants:

1) "Rivers and Channels of St. Petersburg" (August 22, cost is 30 USD).

2) "Pushkin (Tsarskoe Selo)" (August 23, cost is 20 USD)

The payments for conference dinner and excursions could be made
during registration in dollars, rubles or euro.


         Useful information
         ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Moscow summer time = UT + 4 hours.
The lowest floor in Russia is called "the first floor (pervy etage)".
1 $ = 31 rubles, 1 euro = 35 rubles (approximately).
