Vladimir P. Reshetnikov

I am an astronomer at the Astronomical Institute of St.Petersburg State University. Also, I am a professor at the Mathematics and Mechanics Faculty of St.Petersburg State University.

My astronomical research interests center on galaxy structure and evolution. Current topics include:

Polar-ring and interacting galaxies

Galaxy warps: statistics, properties and origin

Spiral galaxies at z~1: radial and vertical structure of stellar disks, statistics of interactions

Surface photometry and kinematics, dynamical modeling

Observational cosmology
